My goal was to retreat at a small and isolated place on the south face of Gokarna. I booked a small room in a very simple homestay at Belekan Beach, and after arriving at Om beach, I took a walk through Half-moon Beach, and Paradise Beach (also known as Full moon) to my destination.

Gokarna is a small town located on the western coast of India in the state of Karnataka. It is a popular destination for those seeking a spiritual retreat, as it is known for its serene beaches and sacred temples. One of the most famous temples in Gokarna is the Mahabaleshwara Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple attracts many devotees every year, especially during the Shivratri festival.
